Born in Rochester, NY, Chris Wyatt Scott has lived in over fifty houses and apartments. After high-school in North Carolina and serving in the Marines, stationed in Okinawa, Chris obtained a degree in ‘General Education’ with an emphasis in 'Painting and Drawing’ from Mira Costa College in Oceanside, CA. Artistic output and experimentation was focused around the group ‘Unusable Signal’ that was founded with two fellow Marines.

The early 2000's' found CWS active in the Los Angeles music and art scenes, performing in key venues and organizing group shows from his residence on legendary West Adams Blvd. Connections made during a college study-abroad program led him back to Florence, Italy and nearly a decade as an ex-pat living and working in Europe. Those years were spent as an illustrator, window-dresser, and as a touring musician playing in over twenty countries from Iceland to Morocco.

After a year in New York City, CWS relocated to Reno, Nevada and opened a store selling custom furniture and local Art called ‘Corner Craft’. As an artist in Reno, CWS found inspiration and an audience in the desert geography, the immensity of the Burning Man community and the dynamics of a once artist-friendly city in the process of rapid gentrification.

Chris Wyatt Scott is once again living in Italy with a multi-use studio space, ‘11 Olives’, in the historic center of Florence.
